Fundraising

Our bands’ success is due in no small part to the support of volunteers who donate their time to fundraising and the community at large who support us financially. We thank all of our supporters, without whom much of what we do would not be possible.

TAG Day – Small groups of students, accompanied by parents, will canvas major Grafton School Zone neighborhoods.  They will go door-to-door asking for a tax-deductible donation to the Grafton Band in support of the many concerts, events and opportunities that the band provides for the students.  The families offering donations will be given a “Tag” with the dates of the marching band performances and concerts throughout the school year.  The “Tag” will also indicate what their donation could fund for the band—anything from a uniform cleaning to paying the entrance fee into a competition. This fundraiser requires a massive amount of support from the band parents and band students.  We are looking for 100% participation from the students. For more information, visit our TAG DAY page.

Spirit Wear – Various spirit wear is available from the Spirit Wear Team at most band functions. Contact us via email (Spirit@graftonband.com) to place an order if you are unable to make it to the functions!

Kroger Community Rewards allows Kroger shoppers to enroll their Kroger Plus shopper’s card under Grafton Band and rewards will be donated to the band each time you shop and use your Kroger plus card.  See information on the Kroger Community Rewards page or contact us via email (ghbpafundraisingcommittee@graftonband.com) for questions.

Sponsorship Program is for business advertising. Businesses that step forward to support our band in one of three tiers will enjoy many benefits including advertising in several ways garnering more exposure for their company and business in the community. We are ever appreciative of the financial support from these businesses as their support directly and immediately impacts the band, its activities, instruments, and musical programs in a very positive way.
