FOOTBALL GAMES RULES
1.
Arrive at school at the
appropriate call time.
2.
Always wear your band T-shirt
underneath your uniform.
3.
Make sure that you have your
band shoes and black socks before you leave home.
4.
Either bring your own dinner
or buy from the concession stand.
5.
Keep your uniform on
UNLESS a staff member says it is ok to take off your jackets. Your jacket should remain zipped, but you
may undo your collar. Hats should be
off while in the bleachers. If a staff
member says no jackets, then your shirt stays tucked in and your suspenders
stay up. Jackets should be folded
neatly and set on the bleachers. No exceptions!!! Your uniform is a
representation of the band. Treat it
with care and be proud of the group you represent.
6.
Sit in your own section in the
bleachers. Do not move to sit by your
friends. During pep tunes, EVERYONE
plays. There is to be no outside
visitors into the band section during the game.
7.
During pep tunes, the
woodwinds remain sitting while the brass and percussion stand up.
8.
Provided all of the rules are
followed, you will have the 3rd quarter free.
9.
Be back in your seat by the
start of the 4th quarter.
10.
Once you are in uniform, there
is to be no food or drinks in the stands except water. This includes the 4th quarter. Do all of your eating/drinking before the
game or during the 3rd quarter.
11.
The bleachers MUST be clean
when we leave the stadium after a game.
Please throw away your trash at the end of the 4th quarter. The Band Parents will bring around trash
bags for you to clean up at the end of the game.
12.
Do not leave the bleachers
unless you have permission.
13.
There will be no backtalk or
disrespect tolerated towards chaperones or staff.

6.
It is vital that the band
warms up and tune up together. Make
sure that you are ready to go and are not holding up everyone.
7.
When we are done performing,
percussion and sousaphones usually go back to the trailer to put up their
equipment. Everyone else goes directly
to the stands to watch other bands or the awards ceremony. EVERYONE SITS TOGETHER IN ONE SECTION. No
exceptions!!!
8.
Do not leave the bleachers after we perform until a staff
member allows you to go to the concession stand for food or to the bathroom.
9.
There will be no disrespect
tolerated towards other bands. We will
be gracious winners and losers. If
someone else beat us, they have worked hard and deserve some recognition. It is always polite to clap and cheer for
the other bands. It is a classy, mature
way to represent the band, school and yourself.
10. After the
awards ceremony report directly to the buses unless told to do something else.
11. Remember to
think twice before doing anything questionable.
