Mr. Kirsch Students
Spring trip dates March 25-30.
Students should remember that the trip is a privilege not a right. Students should meet parameters set by their
parents. The cost of the trip is nonrefundable. There are 196 students going.
The parents that are chaperones have had contact with the students. Room and bus sign ups start tomorrow. The hotel is on Universal property.
There will be
private security guards (off duty police officers) on duty from 11pm to 7am.
Students with
true emergencies at the parks should go to first aid. The check list in the information packet is general, not a
complete list. For Wet n Wild pack
bathing suit in carry on bag and change on bus or in park, should leave things
on bus or in rented locker. Bathing
suits should be appropriate.
The guard does
not need uniforms and the band does not need marching uniforms.
Rules are listed
on orange county permission card and in trip packet. Breaking rules such as alcohol, drugs, cohabitation, tobacco,
curfew violations and shoplifting have the penalty of immediate return home at
parent’s expense.
Parents are
reminded of the impact of bingo for the band and that all students benefit from
bingo who are going on the trip. Often
use of bingo funds goes unnoticed.
School work-
suggest speaking to teachers a couple of weeks before hand to set up a date to
get makeup work. Will miss 3 days of
