All parents who have students in the GHS Band are automatically members of the organization.  Per GHBPA Bylaws, there are no dues or fees to belong.  Participation is highly encouraged and benefits all band members.  

Board meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 7:00PM in the GHS Bandroom and are open to the general membership unless otherwise stated.  A general membership meeting is held once in the Fall, Winter and Spring.  The board meeting minutes can be read by clicking on the "Minutes" button at top.  

The GHBPA consists of an Executive Board of elected officers and the Band Director; an Executive Committee consisting of the Board and associated Committee Chairs; and the General Membership.  Committee's may have additional volunteers that assist with that particular committee's function.  All positions are voluntary and non-paid although there are certain considerations given for awarding of scholarship credits and selection of chaperones for the Spring educational seminar.  Our Bingo games are always in need of volunteers as well to work the games and offer additional scholarship benefits to students depending on game status.
