The GHBPA hosts Bingo on the 1st, 3rd and 5th (if it exists) Saturday of each month (unless otherwise posted) from 12:05AM Sat (just after midnight Friday) to 3:00AM Sat morning. Games are held at the Chestnut Hall Bingo Center, 4711 Chestnut Ave., Newport News. (click here for map and directions) Phone (757) 928-3100. Please keep in mind that Bingo is our BIGGEST FUND RAISER and these funds are used to purchase new instruments, offset Spring educational seminar costs for students, band fees and band room equipment.
Volunteers must work from 10:15PM on Fri evening (actual game starts 12:05AM Sat) to 3:00AM Sat morning. We need a minimum of 24 student and adult volunteers to work each game.
